TRACKS
We are living in the 4.0 industrial revolution. On a global scale, corporations are facing massive challenges and opportunities of digital disruption. Corporate strategies need to be transformed. Employees need to keep themselves relevant or face the consequences of being replaced by either more competent staff or artificial intelligence for numerous tasks. Failure to track and closely monitor technological changes (amid other changes in a Vulnerable, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous world) could lead to the demise of even highly successful enterprises. This conference brings together the minds of both corporate and academia to examine the crux of the issues surrounding digital disruption and what organizations should do to proactively respond to both the opportunities and threats presented by the latest trends in technology that are considered disruptive. A recent survey by the Global Center for Digital Business Transformation suggests that 45% (of approximately 9,000 corporate executives surveyed) felt that their leaders were not concerned with digital disruption. This conference aims to address the challenges and opportunities arising from digital disruption and address them with three specific tracks/themes as follows:
